Meet the Team
Greg Neal
Founder
Dr. Greg Neal was raised in a pastor’s home, trusted Christ as his Savior at the age of four, and answered God’s call to preach at just six years old. Committed to following the Lord’s will, he attended Bible college to prepare for a life of ministry. During that time, he met his wife, Heather, and they have now been faithfully serving the Lord together for over thirty years.
While his formal education provided a strong foundation, it was through life and ministry that God further shaped his heart. As the father of four daughters, Dr. Neal developed a deep compassion for people and a greater ability to love and serve others.
God has entrusted him with significant leadership roles, including serving as pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church and President of North Florida Baptist College. His passion for building a strong spiritual foundation and training the next generation of leaders is evident in every aspect of his ministry.
Camp New Beginnings is a direct result of Dr. Neal’s faithful leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing the cause of Christ. His vision continues to impact lives and shape future generations for the glory of God.
Mark Montgomery
Director
Mark Montgomery was raised in a pastor’s home and trusted Christ as his Savior as a teenager. Surrendering his life to serve the Lord, he attended Bible college, where he met his wife, Erin. During his college years, he faithfully served in bus and Bible club ministries, working closely with children and teens.
Under the influence of godly leaders, Mark developed a heart for ministry and grew into a dedicated Christian leader. Shortly after college, the Lord called him into pastoral ministry, where his passion for preparing the next generation to serve Christ deepened. He later founded a youth camp in Alabama, ministering to and encouraging young people to surrender their lives to God’s will.
Today, Mark serves in multiple roles, including music director, college professor, Sunday school teacher, and Camp Director of Camp New Beginnings. His sincere love for the Lord and commitment to investing in young people impact hundreds of lives each year.
Camp New Beginnings is grateful for his leadership, vision, and zeal as he faithfully directs this ministry for the glory of God.
Erin Montgomery
Administrator
Erin Montgomery was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She later attended Bible college, where she was actively involved in music and teen outreach ministries. During that time, she met her husband, Mark, and earned a bachelor’s degree in education.
For over twenty-three years, Erin has faithfully served alongside her husband in pastoral ministry while raising their three children. She is actively involved in her church, leading in the ladies ministry and serving in music and outreach ministries.
With a strong background in education and music, Erin is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation to use their talents for the Lord. She has a deep desire to see the cause of Christ continue through future generations, just as it was faithfully passed down to her.
Erin’s servant’s heart, faithful example, and dedication to investing in others make her a valued part of the ministry at Camp New Beginnings.

Our volunteer Board of Directors is committed to the spiritual and operational health of Camp New Beginnings. Comprised of dedicated Christian pastors, business professionals, and community leaders, the board provides essential oversight, financial accountability, and strategic guidance. They work diligently to ensure our ministry remains effective, financially sound, and firmly rooted in our mission to lead young people to Christ.
