Be Prepared

Know What

To Bring

Arrival

  • Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
  • Orientation meetings begin at 4:00 p.m.
  • Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m.
  • Evening service begins at 6:30 p.m.

Departure

  • Dismissal begins after breakfast on Friday, approximately by 9:00 a.m.
  • Groups are asked to assist in clean up of grounds and facilities before departing.

What to Bring (label items if possible)

  • Please label items if possible
    King James Bible and pen for devotions and sermon notes
  • Pillow, sleeping bag or twin sheets, and a blanket
  • Toiletries (such as but not limited to): toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, brush/comb, deodorant, etc.
  • Washcloths and 2-3 towels (one for showers and one for water activities)
  • Flip-flops or water shoes (recommended for showers/water activities)
  • Bug spray and sunscreen (highly recommended)
  • Trash bags or laundry bags for dirty clothes
  • $25 spending money is recommended for the canteen

Dress Code for Guys

  • Athletic pants or jeans with colored T-shirts (no sleeveless for daily activities
  • Casual pants or jeans with collared shirt for services
  • Long shorts (to the knee) allowed for swimming and sleeping

Dress Code for Girls

  • Culottes or athletic skirts (loose-fitting and come below the knee with colored T-shirts no sleeveless tops) for daily activities and water activities
  • Dresses/skirts (loose-fitting and come below the knee; no pants or shorts) with modest tops for services (no sleeveless, low-cut, tight, or sheer tops)
  • One-piece swimsuits allowed underneath dark
    clothing for swimming.

Prohibited Items

  • Electronics of any kind
  • Firearms, knives, fireworks, drugs, or alcohol
  • Megaphones or any noise-making devices
  • Items for the sole purpose of pranking
  • Books, magazines, newspapers, or games of any kind

General Information

  • For emergencies regarding your child, contact the Camp Director, Mark Montgomery (904-716-2665) or your church’s group leader directly.
  • Cell phone service may be poor, but voicemails and text messages will be checked regularly.
